My Story

Through every step, I’ve focused on staying true to my values and making space for more presence. Because you cannot give from an empty cup.

Having worked in Education for over 16 years, I can honestly say from first hand experience that burnout, chronic stress, and that ‘fight or flight’ feeling of nervous system dis regulation, are sadly all common grounds for many Educators.

I worked within Further Education for many years as Course Leader / Lecturer, and after gaining my Masters Degree in 2018, I moved in to Higher Education. I’ve taught internationally and at various prestigious institutions, and I still currently work in Higher Education as a Lecturer in the UK. I love so many aspects of my job role, and care deeply for my colleagues and students.

It’s my life’s mission to offer colleagues and friends some equilibrium. Freedom in knowing that no matter how difficult a day or week (or an entire academic year) can be, that they can remain calm and grounded in presence. It’s a conscious choice that requires a handful of tools, awareness, and a willingness.

Alongside supporting educators, I run Yoga and Meditation Retreats in the UK. As well as Mindfulness Workshops, and Rooftop Yoga during the Summer months. I teach Yoga and Sound healing on a regular basis at David Lloyds gyms, and have also led student well-being events in supporting ‘stressed out’ students around exam time.

I hope that you join me on this journey of not only grounding ourselves as educators in presence and peace, but inspiring the next generation to do the same.

Love and light, Lesley-Ann x
